• A mobile application designed to find like-minded people in an area of similar interest.

Business Requirement

• The Client wanted a location-based social network and social discovery app for Android and iOS that helps to find people nearby.

• The platform should incorporate a real-time chat function for connected users and ensure timely delivery of notifications.

• The application should allow users to share media with other external apps like Facebook, WhatsApp, etc with the watermark on it.

Solution

• We Implemented Real-time chat on iOS and Android utilizing Google Cloud Messaging.

• The platform utilizes a Real-time location tracking feature in both iOS and Android to accurately determine the user’s current location.

• We integrated webView with separate URLs for popular video platforms such as Youtube, Vimeo, and Dailymotion.

• The platform is integrated with prominent video libraries and CDN-like repositories to enable video upload and streaming.

• We also Employed Lucene, Solr, and MongoDB to fulfill the search and autocomplete requirements.

Key Features

• This networking platform enables people to share photos, GIFs, videos, etc with their community and also to other external apps like Facebook, WhatsApp, etc with the media watermarked.

• The users are notified when watchers comment, like, or reply to their posts.

• The app monitors the user’s current location at regular intervals accurately and also maintains better battery life.

• It also enables real-time chat with connected friends.
